CT MUTS Monthly Meetings

CT MUTs meets on the second Thursday of every month, alternating between on-line business meetings and in-person speaker or event meetings. 

Bi-monthly business meetings will be held on-line via Zoom at 4:00 pm.  The purpose of the business meetings is to discuss what the group would like to accomplish, what services and events would best serve our members, what speakers we would like to invite, regulatory updates, etc. Each of these meetings will also have one or more members providing a short presentation about their program - what stage it is at, successes, challenges, questions, advice, etc. 

Bi-monthly speaker or in-person event meetings will be held in person at different locations and times around the state (these meetings are sometimes evening meetings).  If we have a speaker, the first half of the speaker meeting will be a Zoom or in-person presentation by the speaker.  If it is zoom, this portion of the meeting will be recorded (and can be found here CT MUTS speakers).  The second half of the speaker meetings will allow time for in-person networking.  This portion of the meeting will not be recorded and will be limited to in-person participation.  Event meetings will not be recorded.

Next Meetings and Events: 

January 11, 2024 - On-line Zoom business meeting  

We are planning to start discussing SOPs during our business meetings - focusing on one aspect at a time.  We will be starting in January.  Zoom link and agenda to be e-mailed prior to meeting. ​ Those who would like to watch the meeting on a big screen with Don Janelle at Manchester's Office of Emergency Management (321 Alcott Street) are welcome to do so. If the Manchester EOC will be available on that date we will let you know when we send out e-mail notifications.

DIRECTIONS TO MANCHESTER EOC
321 Olcott STREET
 
Out of town:
Take your preferred route to Route 384 east.
 
Follow route 384 east to EXIT 1
 
Take a left onto Spencer St
 
Travel approximately 1-mile, (at the 4th traffic light you should see a  gas Station on your right) at the traffic light - turn left onto Olcott ST.
 
Go approximately 100 yards to 321 Olcott St. (on the left). There is a green sign which reads: “Town Of Manchester, Field Services Unit”, Emergency Operations Center (that’s us)…. turn into this driveway.
 
The driveway is long – ¼ mile. The EOC is in the first large building you see on the left. (The building has 10 garage bays)
 
Park your car in any open parking space in the lot just prior to the building. Enter either via the front door on the north side of the building (the main double doors). The EOC is on the second floor. An elevator is in the lobby near the main door.
